Climbing Away

When he is away he thinks all day
About his unknown future to come,
His past which has become
Part of his building blocks,
To the steps he has driven to rise on.
Without a tough background
He would never have found
In his heart the right way, the only way
On his own way today
He carries himself high in a new way
He pleases himself everyday
With more people, he now shares this all day
About the lessons where he fought for what he got.
From himself, from no one else, anywhere else
Now sharing his feelings
He can redeem his true healings
Pushing the sorrows away, painting them astray
Knocking the graves out of his way
He no longer suffers all day
Instead he reaches away.

February 25th

Gold chains and diamond rings
Money clips full without an ease
Making money from the streets
That is how he has risen to his feet
Doing what he has to, he makes his deeds come too
Its not easy as seen on the big-screen T.V.
With life comes reality at a young age
With no one to guide or show him the right way
He was stuck outside without a place to hide
As he grew older he became tougher at heart
Until he met a woman whom would give his life to him
Back, reborn, his childhood within him and a child with him
She is now the key and meaning to his life
He will kill for her on any given Sunday
With one wife, one daughter, and three sons
He doesn't yet know how to become
A role model for the young ones
He tries hard and harder he tries
With his feelings always on the line
Last night I felt his real side
So I will no longer hide with lies
But speak the truth with my mind and eyes

Differences of Others

He's fought hard to maintain his life
It hasn't been easy or soft spoken
It almost kept him broken, until
He came out and begun to show his real emotions
From cries of hate, come tears of joy
For he has said nothing yet
The fear of his past will always remain
Telling those who can feel his pain
Tired and worn out he continues to struggle and maintain
But with new goals in mind, he now has time
Instead of smoking his time away
He now has learned to write the other way
His mind is a never ending maze of thoughts
Continuing into his sleep, he still has visions of what he used to be
More out going than ever before,
His peers now respect him more
For the moments they once shared, he will treasure theirs too
It is now time, to move on and speak to others
People on the downside, looking up, trying to escape from
I lend them my hand, in return I ask for nothing,
But share a piece of mind
For I know how hard it is to let something out
Something so painful no one could understand, but are you
Ready to take their own lives, ours
It's our time now, I hope you join me now

Dreaming of Nature

As helping THC sets him asleep
Voices begin speaking to me
Its the only time he can dream
His mind is free
He thinks of what he could be
And it appears to him
Dreaming away his mind is at ease
His efforts fearless
As he realizes he is me
With the sun rising behind a mountain, full of range
A picture for picture is set for the best
He gets up, awakened, formed into an ice cube
Slowly rising to his feet, he grabs his fishing rod
With only one person ahead of him, leading the way
They find a perfect fishing hole, to start the day
So he ties his fly, on to his line,
Looks to the river and casts high
Gazing into the endless meadows of life,
The smell of nature catches his breath
Another cast is made into the crystal stream,
Peace is the only word to express what he sees
Oh how I love the woods
And how they set me free
