Apology

Sometimes I know I'm wrong
Often times I know I've been mistaken
Other times I know I've forgotten
This time I know I should have known all along

Now, I can only beg
Now, I can only plead
Now, I can do no more
Now, I pray.

Truth was the solution to the problem
Yet, I tried to hide it
I thought I was protecting us
You were right from the start.

Hiding the truth will only keep us apart
