Sandra Hagle was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1957. She moved to the
mainland when she was only two...something to which she would have
objected had she been old enough to understand. She has lived in Oregon
since then. Sandra has a wonderful eight year old son and plans to go back to work soon. She has a virtual book of poetry online
at www.1stbooks.com called 'Heart Full Of Soul' so as of yet she is a virtually unknown virtual
author. She is very fond of the old English poets;
Shakespeare, Byron, Dickenson, Rossetti. She loves Steven King novels,
R & R music, especially John Fogerty/CCR. To see her picture, go to
her site.
"I write what I feel. My poems are little pieces of me. I am the words..." ~Sandra Hagle.

Love stole me away, In it's talons like a bird of prey. Left me in uncertainty to lay. I'm still here, kept in the air without a rope, Hangin' on these little threads of hope. Night comes closing in, Sending out your name upon the wind. Oh, drink me dry and fill me up again. Now you're gone, just beyond my reach where I float, Hangin' on by little threads of hope. I held back and tried, Not to let you see what burns inside. You saw everything that I denied. I'm still here, will I disappear before the strands Of aching hope go slipping through my hands? Love stole me away, Left me in uncertainty to lay. Hangin' by these threads of hope I'll stay. |
